AIR BEARINGS & AIR CASTERS

Air Bearings are also known as Air Casters, they are one in the same. SOLVING air bearing-based technology is designed to provide easier and free transport of various types of loads, regardless of weight or size. Air casters use a continuous, regulated flow of air to create an air film between an inflated bearing element and the floor surface. The air casters (air bearings) are mounted to a rigid platform to provide load carrying capability. The thin film of air created between the air casters and the floor surface allows the load to lift and float, virtually friction-free and omni-directional movement is achieved.

Great Rigging Tool to place under large loads and move manually, or with  the assistance from conventional equipment, such as a tugger or fork truck, for the heaviest loads. Great tool for moving loads through doorways and where cranes can't reach. Works off plant air in most cases. Air Bearings, also known as Air Casters, floats loads on a thin film of air. AIR FILM TRANSPORTER / AIR PALLETS

Air Pallets consist of custom air film transporters using Standard components. Steel Frame Vehicles designed and built to fit your application using standard SOLVING Drive Units, Air Casters & Controls. Manual Air Pallets and powered Air Film Transporters. Joy Stick controlled Omni-Steering capabilities with Straight X/Y-axis positioning. The Air Bearings or Air Casters are the black doughnut shaped bladders shown in picture. TURN TABLES

Industrial Turn Tables used in many applications. Turntables used for indexing product from Isle to assembly, to switch the orientation of a conveyor line and for display purposes, to name a few uses. Air Bearing Turntables are our specialty, rotate over 10-tons manually on a thin film of air by use of Air Bearings or Air Casters. Powered Drive options are also available. SOLVING Air Bearing Turntables have almost unlimited capacities with successful applications up to 650 tons. We build custom size turntables using standard lay-outs, designs and components. Our turn tables can usually be custom built & shipped in just 6-8 weeks.

MOBILE SCISSOR LIFT TABLES

Mobile Lift Tables to position product at ergonomic levels. SOLVING'S Air Bearings can turn conventional Scissor Lift Tables into portable positioning platforms with an air pallet base. We can provide the scissor lift table, or the Air Bearing pallet base to mount existing Lift Tables on, or we can construct the entire Mobile scissor lift  complete as one unit with one controller for all table and air pallet functions.

RADIO CONTROLLED and

AUTOMATIC GUIDED VEHICLES

Automated Guided Vehicle Systems for on-time precise placement of Heavy Loads. SOLVING has taken its Air Film Technology and adapted it with the guidance controls of Automated Systems. Radio-Controlled Transporters are also an option. Crane bay operators can set down loads and send commands to transfer the load from one crane bay to another. Large loads, such as Transformers and Diesel Engines can benefit from radio-controlled transporters, as the single operator can move about freely to safely coordinate the move.
